Are You Looking for a Family Member?
It's so hard to face this decision for your parents. The roles are reversed, and you are now the caretaker in the relationship. The people who raised you, loved you and protected you throughout your life need your help. You are met with the frightening job of choosing a senior living community for them when they can no longer care for themselves. We know how intimidating this task can be when there are so many communities and services to choose from that all claim to do the same thing.

Which Care Type is Right For You?
Senior living communities offer several living options to meet the wide-ranging needs of each resident. Without understanding the choices available, it can be difficult to determine which care type will benefit you. You may search for one care level, but come to find out that another option is better.
Three common care levels offered are Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Communities may offer one or all care levels. It’s important to understand which care level is right and what the difference is between these options.
As you plan for the future, keep in mind that your needs will change and you may not need these care types in a sequential order.
Determining a care level for a senior living resident is a very complex process, and several factors and assessments go into this evaluation. A formal evaluation will have to be completed by a healthcare professional at your senior living community to determine an accurate care level. This information is intended to give you a general idea of which option might be best. It does not replace the advice or assessment of a medical professional.
Below are some example scenarios to help determine which senior living option is best for you or a loved one. This is a tool to get you started as you plan for your future.

I need someone to help with cooking.
I need someone to assist me with taking my medications. -

It's never easy to talk about senior living and senior care with family or loved ones. It's easy to ignore the subject and wait it out. Our Reviews Speak for Themselves
My family and I have had a family member here for over 10 years. Fortunately for us, almost all the staff we started with still works there. That is saying something for any business. Their activities are exceptional, their activity, director, and other workers go above the call of duty. The place is well managed, always clean and the food is delicious. We are confident when we go out of town that our loved ones will be taken care of exceptionally well. I can’t say enough for Allegro Fleming Island. My family and I are very fortunate that this facility is so accessible.
I'm a new resident, some minor staff issues to begin otherwise it would be 10 stars. However, there is one staff member that goes above beyond for everyone. Her name is Margo. she ensures we all are safe and she is so nice helping us with anything we may need and addresses our challenges as no sweat. I/ We all simplay love and appreciate her.
