At Alto Stuart, every resident has a story to tell—but few have lived a life as rich and inspiring as Gerri Havens. On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the senior living community in Stuart, Florida, came together to celebrate Gerri’s incredible 103rd birthday with a heartfelt party among friends, family, and staff.
Born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Gerri made Stuart her home in 1979 and has been a cherished member of the community ever since. Known for her warm spirit and love of laughter, she’s become a beloved friend to residents and caregivers alike.

Before retirement, Gerri spent her career as a dedicated bookkeeper, and in her free time, she found joy on the golf course, on the dance floor, and at the dinner table—especially when Italian food was on the menu. Her favorite color? Pink, of course—matching her bright and cheerful personality.
The celebration took place at Alto Stuart, located at 1301 SE Palm Beach Road, with festivities kicking off at 2:30 PM. Adding to the joy of the occasion, Stuart Mayor Campbell Rich and City Commissioner Eula Clarke stopped by to personally extend their warm wishes and help honor Gerri’s extraordinary milestone. Their presence made the day even more special, reflecting the strong ties between Alto Stuart and the greater Stuart community.
