I moved both of my parents into Allegro at the end of 2020 (during COVID)--it's been almost four years later and when I look back it was one of the best decisions we ever made as a family. Not only is the facility clean and beautiful but every single person that works there is the best of the best...especially the nursing staff. They truly care and they truly put their heart into taking care of our loved ones. Both of my parents have stage 4 cancer along with other chronic conditions but they have thrived here because they get great care and all of their needs are met. The proximity to TGH is a blessing. Between the two of them, there are quite a few medical appointments -- but the Allegro driver takes care of transportation. There have been a few times that they needed around the clock care and/or emergency services and the team at Allegro took care of everything or made new care plans -- the communication is always outstanding and transparent. It is wonderful to know that you can trust them. I can't begin to express how thankful I am for the peace of mind they have given me. I love knowing that there is a great community of caring staff, a great group of other residents and so many activities and outings. Because of them, I get to spend precious time with my parents... instead of trying to be their caregiver. My parents love the ability to remain independent (even when receiving all the assistance) and I enjoy the peace of mind. I researched and toured every place in Tampa. Just a little advice....call the facilities you are looking at after hours and see if anyone answers. There is a huge difference with Allegro because they have a professional, knowledgeable staff...they have someone at the desk and will answer 24/7 -- they will take care of anything you need. I have been out of the country and worried about one of them, called at 2am and they sent someone to the room to give me an update. If your loved one is having an issue, they get someone to the apartment immediately and they communicate. I could go on and on...but dealing with ill and aging parents is hard -- Allegro has made the journey easier on me.

I want to give a special shout out to BREE she is a waiter in the kitchen, who waits on the residents. I have witnessed first hand how incredible she truly is. Her attitude is always great, her customer service skills are awesome she takes her job seriously and most of all treats the residents with the up most respect.

My mother has lived at Allegro for 6+ years, and absolutely loves it. What's not to like? Allegro is in an ideal location in South Tampa. Mom has the following services: her bed made and turned down daily; 3 delicious meals delivered daily; weekly cleaning and laundry. She has no stress, which I think is why she's lived to 93! And there are plenty of activities-Mom and I particularly enjoy the wine tastings! And the holiday galas. Allegro may cost a bit more, but it is absolutely the best assisted living facility in Tampa. I wouldn't want Mom to live anywhere else.
