Yes. Activity professionals are available seven days a week in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. Programming includes experiences within the community as well as weekly outings, scenic drives, and special events.
Does Alto Tavares provide transportation?
Yes. Medical appointment transportation is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Errand runs are scheduled twice each week, and residents can participate in at least one planned outing weekly. Memory Care residents can also use transportation for medical needs and participate in scheduled scenic rides or events.
What healthcare services are available at Alto Tavares?
Residents can access visiting podiatry as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy through home health providers. Mobile labs and mobile X-rays are also available. The community works with hospice providers when those services are appropriate.
Does Alto Tavares offer a dementia caregiver support group?
Yes. Alto Tavares hosts a monthly Dementia Support Group on the second Thursday of each month at 2 p.m. The group is open to resident families, residents whose spouses have experienced dementia and members of the surrounding community.
