is a program designed to help new residents and their family transition smoothly and seamlessly. The program guides lifestyle teams through the residents first 100 hours and first 100 days, laying a foundation that inspires the resident to remain socially active, connected and engaged in their new home.

This really is a special place. The staff are so kind and patient, and you can just tell they truly care about the residents—it shows in all the little things they do every day. They also really know what they’re doing when it comes to Alzheimer’s and memory care. You can tell they’re always learning, growing, and looking for better ways to support the residents, which honestly means a lot. It’s hard to trust people with someone you love, but this is one of those places that gives you comfort and peace of mind. The residents are treated with so much respect, and it genuinely feels like they matter here. I would highly recommend Spring Arbor Cottage of Fredericksburg to anyone looking for a memory care community for their loved one.

My Dad has been at Spring Arbor Cottage for 2 years. The care team there really makes the difference. Everyone truly cares about the residents and treats them with dignity and care. Rose, the nursing director, stays in constant communication with families. The doctor comes to the facility three times a week and always makes residents and families feel seen and heard. Front-desk staff is friendly and professional, and the maintenance and housekeeping staff do a great job keeping things looking and smelling clean and homey. I was worried about Dad's adjustment to living away from home, but his anxiety has diminished significantly since moving to Spring Arbor. Day-to-day life was becoming very scary for him with dementia, but the predictability of routines and the constant communication and care from staff put him at ease.

You can truly tell that the staff care about the residents and the little things that make each day special. From the activities to the conversations and the way everyone is included, it is clear that a lot of heart goes into what they do. I always enjoy my visits and love seeing the joy that is brought to the residents each day. Spring Arbor Cottage is a very special place, and I am thankful to be able to see the amazing things they do.
