Meet Our Community Director - Dawn Winder

"I was very close with my great-grandmother, who lived on a farm in Wisconsin, and she filled my childhood with warmth, love and security. It's because of her that I wanted to work with senior adults. Just like she did for me, I set a warm and caring tone for our residents here. The Allegro team and I do our best to pamper them so they can enjoy their retirement to the fullest, feel loved and respected, and find inspiration in each day."

"My son, Shawn, his wife, Heather and their son, Ryan, live only twenty minutes away from my husband, Steve, and me. We also stay actively involved in the lives of our daughter, Corinne, and her children, Ethan and Kylie. Steve even coaches soccer and serves as Cub Scout leader for the grandkids. We love to travel, have taken twenty-six cruises, and visited Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, Alaska and most of the fifty states. I feel so fortunate to enjoy close relationships with my family members at home and with my extended family at Allegro. I have the opportunity to serve people I love, and to work with people I respect. That's just glorious!"
